Team Lloyd Irvin At No Gi Worlds 2010

Team LI headed out to California for the No Gi Worlds this past weekend.

The Team did well, brought back a lot of hardware, including the 3rd place female team trophy.

DJ Jackson won both his weight class and the open division, DOUBLE GOLD, at purple belt, and in an IMPRESSIVE Fashion! DJ fought hard, he submitted all of his opp0nents in the open division and the majority in his weight class.

Rachel Demara ALSO won DOUBLE GOLD, winning her weight class and the open, in a dominating performance.

Willie Leonard did well winning his division and placing third in the open.

JT “The Spiderman” Torres had some AWESOME fights in Black Belt Leve, where he took home bronze.

Andris Brunovskis took home silver after some awesome wins leading to the finals.

Jeremy West AKA “Flanders” had a great performance, a lot of nice backtakes, and was able to take home bronze in his weight class and bronze in the open at blue belt.

The FamLI definitely represented. Now its back to training, keeping the momentum going and getting ready for the ADCC trials.
