Team Lloyd Irvin at No Gi Worlds 2010

Team LI headed out to California for the No Gi Worlds this past weekend. The Team did well, brought back a lot of hardware, including the 3rd place female team trophy. DJ Jackson won both his weight class and the open division, DOUBLE GOLD, at purple belt, and in an IMPRESSIVE Fashion! Team Lloyd Irvin has some new color on its mats.  Tracey Goodell after winning her Pan Ams division and the Open division and then winning the Brazilian Nationals as a Blue Belt she was promoted to the rank of Blue Belt only 2 weeks before the 2010 World Championships.  2 weeks later she had 9 matches and 8 submission victories winning her weight division and the Open Division.  Tonight less than 30 days from being promoted to Purple Belt Master [...]

Team Lloyd Irvin Rocks The Ohio Grappling Challenge! JT Torres Submits UFC Submission Machine Dustin Hazelett

Team Lloyd Irvin sent 5 competitors to the Ohio Grappling Challenge last weekend. JT “Spiderman” Torres represented Team Lloyd Irvin in a Black Belt Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Super Fight against UFC Middle Weight Dustin Hazelett.  Jimmy fought in the 8 man brown belt inviational.  Then Frank, Jeremy and DJ came to compete in the Blue belt division.  All 5 Team Lloyd Irvin competitors won the GOLD with JT submitting Dustin in about one minute!  Both JT and Jimmy won cash [...]
